Descripción del empleo

Senior Director of Risk Analytics, Commerical Risk - EMEA

Join Aon’s Risk Capital Analytics team and play an important role in shaping the future of our Commercial Risk Broking and Consulting value proposition, enabling our brokers and consultants to engage with our clients and support them in meeting their goals through our analytically empowered client experiences. This role will be based in EMEA with hybrid workstyle options.

Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like/About this role

  • This execution-oriented position will flex from the most mundane to the most exciting so it will be important that the colleague in this role is motivated by the vision, and able to execute on the tactical elements as required.
  • Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics, Commercial Risk EMEA, you will work closely with the Commercial Risk broking teams, the EMEA Account Executive teams and various other stakeholders with the aim to effectively transform how we ‘show-up’ for clients, with advanced analytics embedded in our broking product.
  • You will also work closely with our Risk Analytics Product teams to both understand and communicate the nuances of our differentiation and distinctive value proposition across our analytical capabilities and furthermore to help advancing them.
  • You will be a part of executing an ambitious elevation of our product offering and our client’s experience, impacting many aspects of our Commercial Risk proposition: this will entail technical teaching, message training, client interaction, supporting and participating in orals presentations, supporting written responses to rfps, and ultimately, public speaking opportunities.
  • Hence we are looking for a top communicator, comfortable talking both internally and with clients about complex analytical insights. You are native or highly professional in English, other languages as plus.
  • On a regular basis, you will also support marketing activities and campaigns, major events, and colleague and client facing symposia all with the aim of promoting Aon’s reputation for excellence in Analytics.
  • You will be highly involved in partnering with our Broker teams in identifying new training opportunities for analyzer tools and delivering training in an engaging, relevant, and effective way.

How this opportunity is different

You’ll experience a new level of collaboration across a broad set of stakeholders and be part of a high performing team that combines a wealth of experience with cutting edge analytics. It’s a cutting-edge, yet down-to-earth environment where you can confidently build your career oriented to the future of our industry.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.

  • You bring a technical background preferably a master’s degree in business/science or comparable and experience in the risk or insurance industry, preferably with broking or risk analytics background.
  • Conversant in insurance and risk topics, specifically understanding the underpinnings of insurance, risk quantification, and risk finance decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, European language other than English a plus
  • Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders at various levels of knowledge.
  • Excellent project management, organisational and time-management skills, with a capability to work flexibly across different time zones.
  • Excellent sales and marketing skills
  • Motivated to contribute to shape the strategic direction of driving advanced analytical capabilities in Europe and execute in parallel.
  • A self-starter, able to manage high workload and comfortable operating at the intersection of being a learner and a teacher at once.

How we support our colleagues

In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. Plus, our agile environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon. Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two “Global Wellbeing Days” each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself. We offer a variety of working style solutions for our colleagues as well.

Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential. As a result, at Aon, you are more connected, more relevant, and more valued.

Aon values an innovative and inclusive workplace where all colleagues feel empowered to be their authentic selves. Aon is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.

Aon provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran, marital, domestic partner status, or other legally protected status.

We welcome applications from all and provide individuals with disabilities with reasonable adjustments to participate in the job application, interview process and to perform essential job functions once onboard. If you would like to learn more about the reasonable accommodations we provide, email ReasonableAccommodations@Aon.com
