Job Type: Freelance / Part Time

Are you looking for something flexible? Do you have sales, marketing or market research experience within Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries? Are you interested in joining a fast-paced and growing global organisation?

Job Purpose

We are looking for Field Specialists to join our Italy team on a freelance basis. This role will shadow pharmaceutical representatives for the day and prepare a report based on observations made while working with the representative as they interact with their customers. The positions are contracted on a daily basis, based on the size of the project and number of field days required. The position would be suitable for someone looking for part-time freelance and project-based work.

We are specifically looking for individuals based in any of the following regions in Italy:

  • Umbria – ideally Perugia / Terni
  • Campania – ideally Naples / Salerno
Role Responsibilities
  • Contacting sales representatives to arrange a shadowing day in the field
  • Observing interactions between sales representatives and customers without disrupting their day (primarily face to face)
  • Conducting a 60–90-minute interview with the sales representative during the field day
  • Submitting structured reports (workbooks), translated into English, after each day in the field based on observations made within 24-48 hours of field visit
  • Attending a 30-60 min online session prior to each project to understand the project objectives and share feedback
  • Participate in project debrief calls and potentially provide feedback to assist in the development of final recommendations
Person Specification
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales, marketing or market research within Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries
  • Fluent in Italian (written & verbal) and advanced level of English
  • Bachelor’s degree – marketing, science, or data focus is preferred
  • Availability to work on a freelance basis
  • When working on a project, have 1-3 days availability during the week
  • Flexibility to work from morning to evening
  • Flexibility to travel within the country
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent listener
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel
