A global leader in driveline technologies is seeking a Sales Professional to develop sales areas for hydraulic products in Northern Italy. The successful candidate will define and achieve sales targets for assigned customers, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with specialists for new business development. Ideal candidates have over 5 years of technical sales experience in hydraulics/off-highway sectors, good English proficiency, and a willingness to travel. Competenze

  • 5 years related experience in Sales Department
  • Technical training and/or experience in the hydraulic sector
  • At least 5 years' experience in the hydraulic/off-highway technical sales sector

Mansioni

  • Defining and achieving sales targets for assigned customers
  • Identifying new opportunities related to OEM and dealer customers served directly by Italian plants
  • Participating in defining the customer development strategy

Conoscenze

Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Position Summary

Develop sales areas for hydraulic products and systems in Italy, mainly in Northern Italy.

Main opportunities and challenges: Opportunity to operate in a dynamic multi-channel environment with a wide range of products and systems to offer to customers who manufacture a wide variety of applications in the Mobile & Industrial sector.

Main Responsibilities
  • Defining and achieving sales targets for assigned customers
  • Identifying new opportunities related to OEM and dealer customers served directly by Italian plants
  • Participating in defining the customer development strategy and related applications in the assigned area
  • Collaborating with colleagues who are specialists in application solutions or product development to refine the search for and realization of new business opportunities
Job Position and Requirements
Education: High School 5 years related experience in Sales Department Professional Background:
  • Technical training and/or experience in the hydraulic sector
  • At least 5 years' experience in the hydraulic/off-highway technical sales sector
Hard Skills: Essential:

Technical sales experience in hydraulics/off-highway/industrial sectors

Good knowledge of English

MS Office software package

Willingness to travel – mainly within the country, occasionally abroad

Ability to interact with other company departments

Considered as a plus:
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic products
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Hydraulic/Economics (is a plus)
  • Advanced MS Excel
