The Bogie Systems Engineer will be part of the Mechanical Systems Engineering Metier and, as member of a Project Engineering Team, he/she will be in charge of the following activities, specifically for the Bogie and its components:
With a strong mechanical skill he/she will follow all the topic for the Bogie and its sub-components, in particular for:
Traction Motor mechanical aspects will be also part of his/her technical perimeter.
Trough his job he have to ensure the efficiency, safety, and availability of railway bogies and associated mechanical systems through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities optimization, guaranteeing compliance with railway and Alstom standards and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Knowledge & Experience :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Knowledge of Railway mechanical systems (bogies, axles, suspensions, brakes) or Mechanical System in general
Knowledge of Principles of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical engineering
Ability to read technical drawings (Able to draw with CAD program is a preferential)
Knowledge of Railway Normative and safety standards is a plus
More than 2 years in Railways engineering is appreciated
