A leading sports technology firm is looking for a Football Video Systems Technician to manage and supervise technical equipment for major football events, including Serie A and UEFA tournaments. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to gain invaluable experience in a high-pressure live broadcast environment. Candidates should have a technical background and excellent organisational skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively. This role requires flexibility in working hours, mainly on weekends.
📍 Location: The majority of work will take place on-site at stadiums in Pescara, with further opportunities for travel across Italy and Europe.
📝 Contract: Freelance, Casual
💰 Salary: Starting from €130 daily rate, based on experience

We are recruiting to fill Football Video Systems Technician roles within our expanding operations in the Serie A and Serie B. There may be opportunities to work across tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology as part of a dedicated and dynamic team.
We are looking for committed and passionate people that are willing, and able to work throughout the football season. Please consider that this work is likely to be mostly on the weekend with some midweek fixtures.
We will equip you with the technical training, support and full exposure to our systems to perform your match day tasks but also encourage development and progression to help make an impact on what we do. Working as a Football Technology Operations Assistant, is a great entry level route into full time employment with Hawk-Eye Innovations ltd.

The main purpose of this role is to supervise and manage all the technical equipment present in the stadium for three of our Football systems: Video Assistant Referee (VAR), Goal-Line Technology (GLT) and Electronic Performance Tracking System (EPTS).
Working Hours: Due to the nature of the sports industry, there will be work on weekend evenings, and we are expected to fulfil our roles until the last minute.
High-Pressure Situations: Working in a live broadcast environment on a production that is distributed to millions worldwide will bring high levels of pressure.
