Job description
Data Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a Data Engineer responsible for managing data pipelines from various data sources. The role involves developing, modifying, improving, and enhancing functionalities within the data pipeline, as well as documenting ETL designs.
The ideal candidate will ensure responsible handling of user-requested data and transfer knowledge related to data management and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
- At least 1 year of experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
- Skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, along with queries, ETL tools, and APIs.
- Familiarity with unstructured databases, HDFS, MongoDB, and structured databases like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Windows and Linux servers.
- Experience in Big Data and Business Intelligence is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IRIS database is a plus.
- Proficiency in English communication.
