Job description

Overview

Process Integration Engineer (Stationed Batam Indonesia) lead cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize manufacturing processes (assembly, testing, packaging) for seamless production transfer from China to Batam. Develop and validate process flows to ensure product quality, yield stability, and compliance with ISO/IATF standards. Utilize Quality management tools (e.g., CPK, Six Sigma) to monitor process capability and drive continuous improvement. Investigate and resolve production anomalies through root-cause analysis and collaboration with local ENG, PM and QA teams. Design experiments to address critical issues and implement corrective actions & preventive actions. Act as the process liaison between China and Batam factory teams to align process requirements and resolve technical conflicts. Manage technology transfers, ensuring smooth qualification of processes and adherence to manufacturing requirements. Monitor Batam factory team to maintain technical documentation, including process guidelines, PFMEA, and work instructions. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations (e.g., IPC-610, ISO 13485).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years in EMS, with expertise in process integration, DFM, and Lean methodologies.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM tools, Six Sigma (Green Belt+ preferred), and IE methodologies (ECRS, Line balance analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in statistical tools (Cpk, SPC, X-bar).
• Experience in factory setup/relocation or cross-border technology transfers is a plus.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and proficiency in listening and speaking Mandarin.
