This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and enjoys supporting young children at the start and end of the school day.
You will work as part of the school's established wraparound care team, providing a safe, engaging, and structured environment for children aged 3-5. The position involves helping to set up activities, supporting play-based learning, and assisting children with routines such as snacks, toileting, and nappy changing.
- Deliver high-quality care for Early Years pupils within a welcoming and purposeful setting
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Assist with personal care, including nappy changing, in line with the school's safeguarding and hygiene protocols
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, well‑organised learning environment
- Uphold the school's safeguarding and child protection policies at all times
- Experience working with Early Years children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting
- Confidence supporting personal care needs, including nappy changing
- Strong communication skills and a calm, proactive approach
- Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting young learners
- A valid enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Up-to-date safeguarding training is highly desirable
