A major healthcare provider in Scotland seeks a Band 6 Senior Addiction Nurse for the Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. The role involves supervising junior staff and providing high-quality care to complex patients with addiction issues. A First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse is required, and experience in an addiction setting is highly desirable. The position offers a permanent contract with a 37-hour work week, Monday to Friday.

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Addiction Nurse within Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service is committed to providing high quality care using an integrated model of care delivery. You would be working as part of a large team dealing with complex patients with drug and alcohol problems and associated physical and mental health problems. You will assume a supervisory role with junior members of staff. You will be expected to work closely with Children and Families and Criminal Justice Services amongst others. You should be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills. A First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse with post registration experience working within an addiction setting at Band 5 is highly desirable.
