Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the District Nursing Service in Angus. The post holder will be based in Links Health Centre Montrose but will integrate with other locality teams within the North East Locality and Angus dependent on service need. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service which will mean rotation of day/evening shifts/base to ensure provision of service over the 24 hour period over 7 days.
Responsibilities
- Join the District Nursing Service in Angus and work flexibly to meet service needs, including rotation of day/evening shifts to cover 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- Be based at Links Health Centre Montrose and integrate with other locality teams within the North East Locality and Angus as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA of the UK NMC Register.
- Ability and willingness to travel across the geographical area of Angus Health & Social Care Partnership.
- Good leadership qualities with a wide range of clinical knowledge and skills, with evidence of continuous professional development. Community experience would be an advantage.
