Job summary
A leading veterinary hospital in Chester is seeking experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) for their twilight team. This role offers a unique balance of work and life with a shift pattern of 7 days on and 14 days off. Candidates should possess strong anaesthesia skills and a proactive approach to inpatient care. The hospital provides comprehensive training across multiple departments such as neurology, oncology, and cardiology, along with competitive pay rates and professional development opportunities.

Chestergates is expanding, and we're looking for experienced and confident Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) to join our twilight team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a leading referral hospital while enjoying an excellent work-life balance.
You’ll work across a range of specialist departments, including:
- Neurology
- Orthopaedics
- Soft Tissue Surgery
- Internal Medicine
- Ophthalmology
- Cardiology
- Oncology
The role involves a high level of inpatient care and requires confidence in anaesthesia. While referral experience is desirable, full training will be provided to support your development in a multidisciplinary environment.
- 7 days on / 14 days off
- Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
- Annualised contract - salary includes annual leave
- Average weekly hours: 17.5
- Hourly rate: £16.50 - £18.00
- CPD allowance: £500 + 2 CPD days per year
- Opportunities for further development within a supportive and progressive team

- Previous referral or out-of-hours experience is an advantage
