A newly opened care home in the Woodford area is seeking a confident and compassionate Deputy Manager. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations and ensure the highest standards of care and compliance. This position requires a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care and prior leadership experience. The care home values excellence, teamwork, and person-centered care, offering a competitive salary of £46,250 per annum, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Overview

We're seeking a confident and compassionate social care leader to join a newly opened, purpose-built care home in the Woodford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to be part of something special. As Deputy Home Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the day to day leadership of the home, working closely with the General Manager to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new, forward-thinking home with outstanding facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and overseeing the clinical and care delivery within the home
  • Supporting the General Manager in operational leadership and deputising in their absence
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Promoting a culture of excellence, compassion and teamwork
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing the care team to deliver exceptional outcomes for residents
Qualifications
  • Qualified to Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent, e.g. nursing degree)
  • Demonstrable experience in a leadership or deputy role within a care home setting
  • Strong clinical governance and compliance knowledge
  • Passionate about person-centred care, innovation and sustainability
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
Compensation & Working Hours

£46,250pa
Working Monday - Friday 8-5pm
