A growing engineering consultancy in Manchester is seeking a Principal or Associate Civil Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to take technical ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, and tackle complex engineering challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of relevant design standards and experience with analysis software. - Take technical ownership of drawings, calculations, reports and design documentation.
- Review, coordinate and support the work of other engineers and technicians.
- Use Civil 3D, CAD and other analysis/design software, and help develop junior team members' capability.
- Analyse technical problems and develop practical, innovative engineering solutions.
- Solve engineering challenges with a strong understanding of relevant design guides and standards.
Location: Manchester
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 (DOE) + benefits package (~£4,000)

- Take technical ownership of drawings, calculations, reports and design documentation.
- Review, coordinate and support the work of other engineers and technicians.
- Use Civil 3D, CAD and other analysis/design software, and help develop junior team members' capability.
- Analyse technical problems and develop practical, innovative engineering solutions.
- Solve engineering challenges with a strong understanding of relevant design guides and standards.
- Apply knowledge of CDM 2015 and designers responsibilities.
