Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Automation

Location: Telford, TF7

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reward: £65,000 to £70,000 per annum

We are delighted to be working in partnership and in collaboration with Hariley Solutions, a specialist provider of staff in Shropshire, to recruit a Senior Project Manager – Automation for our client, a leading industrial automation specialist based in Telford in Shropshire.

Job Role:

• To Follow the company Project Realisation Process
• To lead multiple projects at an engineering level in line with the lead times and standards required by the client
• To develop and gain sign off agreement of project Functional Design Specification
• To develop Controls layout, according to FDS requirements
• To develop technical documents in line with the client requirements to the industry standard using technical features, diagrams, and language
• Overall responsibility for project gateway sign-off for the automation of the project. these include FDS, electrical design, FAT, electrical installation planning, commissioning & final acceptance testing
• Resource Management for all assigned projects.
• Assuring projects materials are identified, in budget, ordered and delivered onsite to project schedule
• To take part in company training when required to further improve on current skills
• To carry out all reasonable requests related to your profession from management when required
• To lead employees working on projects and ensure they are carrying out tasks as required to meet company Standards and client requirements
• To ensure all employees are treated equally and to ensure that no offense is caused to others
• To follow health and safety policy both within the workshop and on site
• To always interact with customers in a polite and professional manor
• Provide high level weekly project updates to management - key risks, opportunities, and escalations.
• To visit customer sites as and when required to ensure projects are progressing to set milestones and maintain customer satisfaction
• To create project documentation to satisfy CE /UKCA Marking
