A leading UK insurance company is seeking a Pensions Co-ordinator to manage pension arrangements effectively. The role involves governance of the pension scheme, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. The position offers a hybrid working model and opportunities for professional growth.
Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Pensions Co-ordinator to join our Group Pensions team on a 1-year fixed term contract. As Pensions Co-ordinator you’ll develop your expertise and play a key role in supporting the smooth and effective management of pension arrangements for the Company, Trustees, and Scheme Members. With plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, this role is perfect for someone with strong analytical and communication skills who is eager to build a career in pensions.
In this role you will play a part in the governance of the pension scheme by co-ordinating meetings, drafting papers, taking meeting minutes and recording and progressing actions for Pension Trustee meetings. You’ll manage pension queries to the mailbox, providing support to members, Trustees, and stakeholders (both internal and external). You’ll analyse and interpret pensions data, ensuring compliance with Scheme Rules and Pensions legislation. You’ll enhance communications, delivering clear and engaging pension updates to scheme members and manage risk and compliance, maintaining the Scheme’s business plan and governance frameworks. You’ll build strong relationships with third-party pension providers, Trustees, and internal teams and oversee financials, reviewing invoices and monitoring expenditure to ensure effective asset management. You will also have the opportunity to help deliver key pension projects, driving improvements and best practices.
You’re an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving. Whether you already have some experience in UK pensions—including Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes—or you're eager to develop your expertise, you’re ready to take on a role where you can make a real impact. You enjoy working with complex information, analysing data, and ensuring processes run smoothly. Experience within governance is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important.
