A specialist engineering business within the precision metrology and CMM service sector is seeking an experienced CMM Service Engineer for a highly technical, hands‑on role.

This is not a standard field service position. The role suits engineers who enjoy deep fault‑finding, component‑level repair, and understanding how machines truly work.

What we’re looking for

• Component‑level electronics repair experience
• Strong IT skills, with some exposure to programming or scripting
• High mechanical aptitude and confidence stripping and rebuilding machinery
• CAD experience to design, adapt, or reverse‑engineer parts
• Practical CMM service and metrology experience
• A self‑motivated engineer who enjoys learning and tinkering outside of work
