A 7-year-old male in the HU4 area is looking for a PA for 5 hrs per week. He enjoys attending the cinema and gaming and loves a visit to the arcades. He would like a PA who can enjoy fun activities with him.

• Be patient and remain calm under pressure when he is impulsive or displays challenging behaviours and be able to use distraction techniques.
• There isn’t any personal care involved but he will need reminders about using the toilet.

• Support the child in engaging in activities he enjoys (cinema, gaming, arcades) while maintaining safety and positive behaviour support.
• Remain patient and calm under pressure; utilise distraction techniques as needed.
• No personal care required; be able to provide reminders about toilet use.

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.

Rate of pay: £12.21
