Job summary
A leading service provider is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer based in Maidstone. The role involves providing essential maintenance and support for fuel dispensers and EV charging systems, ensuring excellent customer service. Candidates should have mechanical equipment servicing experience, with previous fuel pump experience as a plus. The position offers a competitive salary of £29,200 (OTE £33,000), a company van, and various benefits including pension and tools.

Red Chilli Recruitment in partnership with a market leading service provider of integrated solutions for garage forecourt operations, are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their existing team to provide first‑class customer service to their clients in and around the Maidstone area.
Based from home, you will be responsible for providing ongoing routine maintenance, service and support for fuel dispensers, EV charging systems, tank gauges and associated equipment on forecourt areas.
Full equipment training will be provided.
You will have previous experience of servicing and repairing mechanical equipment and ideally have a track record of working as a field based service engineer. Previous experience of working with retail fuel pumps and fuel management systems would be an advantage but not essential.
Our client is looking for people who possess strong communication and customer facing skills; be flexible in their approach to work and hours; able to work off their own initiative and be well organised.
This position is offering a salary of £29,200 (OTE £33,000 with overtime) + travel door‑to‑door + company van + phone + pension scheme + tools + PPE.
Hours will be 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday with a 1 in 5 weekend and bank holiday rota.
