Field Service Engineer – Utilities & Water Projects (Home Based, North West / Midlands)
About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will :

  • Play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure solutions for utilities and water projects across the UK and occasionally Europe.
  • You’ll be responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, ensuring reliability and safety for clients who depend on these solutions.
  • Your work will directly impact communities by supporting vital water and utility networks, including water treatment plants, pumping stations, and process control systems.
  • This is a client-facing position, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • You’ll manage site activities, troubleshoot issues, and provide training, all while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Essential Requirements
  • HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in M&E disciplines
  • Proven experience in M&E installation and maintenance on utilities or water projects
  • Strong knowledge of RAMS and site safety
