Lancashire Wildlife Trust has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Officer to join the Peatland Programme and support our wetter farming projects across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and North Merseyside.
The Trust is leading innovative land management trials on lowland agricultural peat, and the Assistant Project Officer will work alongside experienced team members to support project delivery.
This role offers a great opportunity for those looking to start a career in peatland restoration, developing skills in monitoring essential for the success of our wetter farming initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enjoy teamwork, and work effectively with landowners and project partners.
