- Build and run FEA simulations (mainly structural) and present clear results
- Support Product Development teams with design analysis
- Provide technical insight to resolve manufacturing and performance issues
- Ensure high standards of safety, engineering quality and best practice
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong industrial experience with FEA
- Expert user of Abaqus CAE
- SolidWorks experience
- Confident with hand calculations and experimental validation
- Strong problem-solving and statistical skills (Six Sigma Black Belt desirable)
- Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure
- CEng or NAFEMS PSE
- Experience in sheet metal forming, polymer modelling or materials testing
- Additional language skills
