PR Manager (Funds)

Who are we looking for?
Carne is investing in our brand, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our external communications including driving public relations, content generation as well as our organic social media presence.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
PR
- Design and execute a communications strategy, aligned with Carne's key growth objectives
- Establish and nurture a high impact spokespeople pipeline - for PR, content and social media
- Optimise media share of voice and managing PR agency
- Continuously monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive PR initiatives.
Organic Social
- Lead the company's organic social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement, to drive brand awareness and engagement across LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Champion best-in-class social storytelling, ensuring all content reflects Carne's brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
Content generation
- Own the content strategy for integrated marketing, collaborating with Marketing, Business Development, Regulatory and Product Development, to coordinate the content within integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives ensuring output is on brand and adheres to our writing style.
- Measure and analyze the performance of marketing communication efforts, using data and insights to optimize strategies and tactics for maximum impact.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to financial services marketing communications.
What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, with a focus on financial services or related industries.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various channels and audiences.
- Proven track record of successfully managing PR campaigns and media relations.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for business purposes, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations for financial services marketing communications is a plus.
