A leading engineering firm in Bristol is seeking a Team Leader for their EMC and RE projects team. The successful candidate will manage a skilled group, providing strategy and guidance while overseeing critical projects. This role requires a degree in a STEM subject and a passion for people management. Salary: Up to £65,000 P/A + benefits (plus excellent bonus and benefits)
Hours: 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity which has arisen in a highly skilled EMC (Electro-magnetic Compatibility) and RE (Radiation Effects) projects team for a new team leader, based in Bristol
The EMC team provides specialist advice, strategy and guidance to all complex EMC programmes from the concept through design, proving and into in service. You will work across multiple programmes and across three main strands: requirements, design and proving.
You will have access to extensive military EMC test capabilities also managed separately within the EMC department, which will be used to qualify product developments against the electromagnetic environment requirements. Your team will be responsible for investigating and/or deploying novel digital proving techniques and methodology. In addition to supporting the project teams directly, you will be managing and coordinating the project activities your team performs.
You will need to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role. This will require you to be either a full UK Citizen or dual national with British Citizenship. Some restrictions may apply.
