Lead FEA Simulation Engineer - Mechanical Engineering

A global engineering and manufacturing leader is seeking an experienced Lead FEA Simulation Engineer to join their advanced simulation team. This is a great opportunity to influence major design and production decisions with high-value impact.

The Role
  • Build and run FEA simulations (mainly structural) and present clear results
  • Support Product Development teams with design analysis
  • Provide technical insight to resolve manufacturing and performance issues
  • Ensure high standards of safety, engineering quality and best practice
What You'll Need
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong industrial experience with FEA
  • Expert user of Abaqus CAE
  • SolidWorks experience
  • Confident with hand calculations and experimental validation
  • Strong problem-solving and statistical skills (Six Sigma Black Belt desirable)
  • Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure
Nice to Have
  • CEng or NAFEMS PSE
  • Experience in sheet metal forming, polymer modelling or materials testing
  • Additional language skills
