A smaller Life Insurance company in the United Kingdom is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to enhance their Actuarial function. This remote role emphasizes optimizing pricing structures and contributing to innovative product development for new segments and markets. The ideal candidate should have actuarial experience in a life insurance setting and proficiency in R, SQL, or Python. Part Qualified Actuaries or Actuarial Technicians are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Life insurance setting, either consultancy or insurers.
- Candidates that are Part Qualified or Actuarial Technicians are welcome.
- Proficiency in R, SQL, or Python is highly valued.

Formation
MERJE are working with a smaller Life Insurance company who are looking to grow their Actuarial function, with the hire of a Part Qualified (up to Nearly Qualified) Actuary.
This will be a Senior Pricing Analyst role, with the predominant focus on Pricing and Product Development. Whilst we're looking for candidate to optimise current Pricing structures, we're also looking for individuals who want to be in an innovative role around Product Development across new segments and markets.
- We're looking for those with Actuarial experience in a Life insurance setting (consultancy or insurers).
- Whilst passing exams is encouraged, we're also happy to consider those Actuarial Technicians or exam stoppers.
- Software experience across R / SQL / Python is highly encouraged.
This is a remote opportunity that will allow you to work from home!
