Job summary
A leading retail company based in Plymouth is seeking a dynamic Software Developer. In this temporary full-time position, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle within an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in C#.Net and ASP.Net, along with a degree in Computing or equivalent experience. The role also offers a competitive salary, pension, and other benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:45 am to 5:30 pm.

As a result of our expansion plans and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Software Developer to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, working within an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support existing products, and help drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and technologies.

- Strong experience in designing distributed software architectures using C#.Net, ASP.Net (Web Forms preferred; MVC or .Net Core also beneficial).
- Solid understanding of modern development methodologies and Agile practices.
- Proficiency in database technologies such as T-SQL, PL/SQL, or MySQL.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and industry-recognized libraries.
- Ability to work effectively within a transversal team.
- Background in software development or equivalent experience.
- Degree-level education in Computing or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in continuous delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments within self-organising teams.
