Workshop Manager - Waste & Clean Water Pumps

Location: Norwich

Salary: From £38,500 per year | Full-time

About the Role

Position 1 Recruitment are partnering with an engineering company to appoint a highly organised Workshop Manager with strong leadership skills and proven experience in pump maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day workshop operations and prioritise repair and service tasks.
  • Receive, assess, and organise pump repair work.
  • Prepare quotes for repairs and new pumps, and produce reports.
  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure safe working practices and workshop compliance.
  • Coordinate maintenance of workshop equipment.
  • Carry out repairs and fault-finding on pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Lead and support the workshop team.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Experience with clean and dirty water pump repair/maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Recognised engineering qualification (essential).
  • ILM Level 3 (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence (required).
