A leading healthcare provider in Liverpool is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join their Pharmacy team. This role involves supporting various teams in dispensary and medicines management while ensuring excellent patient-oriented pharmaceutical care. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and hospital pharmacy experience. The position requires participation in weekend and holiday shifts, with an annual salary ranging from £27,485 to £30,162.
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered or soon-to-be registered Pharmacy Technician to join the department on a full-time basis, and be part ofour well established, friendly Pharmacy team based at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. In doing so you will also be supporting a number of teams within Pharmacy, including the dispensary and medicines management ward technicians.
We're looking for an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills. You will need to be forward thinking and enthusiastic, with a commitment to continuing professional and department development.
You'll get the opportunity to mature your dispensary and leadership skills, expand your clinical knowledge in cardiology and thoracic medicine and be supported throughout.
Band 4 Pharmacy Technicians participate in rotations in dispensary, controlled drug dispensing, ward drug safety checks and supporting the homecare technician in homecare prescription management.
The General working pattern is 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day period, with usual working hours 8:45am till 5pm Monday to Friday and that will include weekend and bank holiday working,

JOB SUMMARY
To co-operate in the provision of patient focused pharmaceutical care with emphasis on the technical aspects of ordering, dispensing, issuing, distribution and stock control of medicines.
Band 4 Pharmacy Technicians participate in rotations in dispensary, controlled drug dispensing, ward drug safety checks and supporting the homecare technician in homecare prescription management.
