Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician, Clinical Services.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the pharmacy Clinical Services Team at King's College NHS Trust. To develop and participate in ward based pharmacy services in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff. The post holder will support the delivery of a high-quality pharmacy service, under the direction of the line manager who will assess the ward based competencies of the post holder and ensure standardisation of activities. The post holder will be managed by the Lead Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician and provide a pharmacy technical link between the wards and pharmacy team, taking the lead in assessing and maintaining patient\'s own drugs and one-stop dispensing systems, supporting with discharge planning and patient counselling. They will be expected to pass in-house competency assessments.
As a Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician;
Maintain compliance with King's policies and procedures for Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians. Compliance will be monitored and assessed by the line manager.
