Job summary
A leading renewable energy company is seeking a standalone HR Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves managing the complete employee lifecycle, developing HR policies, and ensuring legal compliance in the UK. Candidates should have HR generalist experience, ideally be CIPD qualified, and possess strong organizational skills. The HR manager will drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain accurate HR records. Location: Chorley, UK.
Qualifications
- Experience in an HR generalist role within a commercial or fast-moving environment.
- Proven ability to manage both strategic and administrative HR tasks.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Design HR processes and manage vendor relationships.
- Research and implement HR policies ensuring legal compliance.
- Serve as advisor on complex HR matters.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Design and deliver training programmes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR metrics.
