Job summary
A leading health organization in Wales seeks a trained and practicing Clinical Endoscopist/Gastrointestinal Specialist Nurse in Cardiff. This role involves performing endoscopic procedures and managing patients with gastrointestinal diseases. The ideal candidate will engage in nurse-led clinics, focusing on providing holistic patient care and improving service delivery. Candidates with a background in upper GI and an interest in diverse conditions are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.
Qualifications
- Must meet desirable criteria on person specification for qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Undertake diagnostic oesophagogastroscopy and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy/Colonoscopy.
- Run nurse led clinics for defined gastrointestinal diseases.
- Assess histopathological and X-ray reports for patients.
