A leading orthopaedic hospital in the UK is seeking a Spinal Fellow to provide specialist training in complex spinal surgery. The role involves exposure to full-endoscopic techniques and the opportunity to engage in high-level clinical and research endeavors. Candidates must have or be close to obtaining a CCT or completed a Spinal fellowship year. This position is dedicated to developing skills in a dynamic environment, preparing candidates for leadership in spinal care.

Opportunities cover paediatric and adult spinal deformity, complex deformity surgery, and related spinal procedures across a range of techniques and approaches.

This fellowship year will provide specialist training in MDT administration and delivery for tertiary referrals, pre- and post-op ward rounds, surgical multidisciplinary procedures, clinics and theatre lists, clinical research including data collection and audits, and preparation of abstracts and papers for presentation and publication. The post is dedicated to high-level clinical and research experience in spinal deformity correction, with the fellow developing surgical plans for each patient and presenting complex cases at weekly MDT meetings. The fellowship may include teaching responsibilities for MSc students and registrars.
