Medical Secretary

• 25.90 (0.70) Hours Post
• Fixed Term until June 2026
• Band 3

Part time vacancy for a Medical Secretary has arisen in the Midlothian Psychology Department based at No 11, Dalkeith due to a member of staff being on maternity leave.

This post will primarily involve a secretarial service within the directorate to include clinical correspondence, administrative work, filing and tracking notes.

A keen attention to detail is essential as are good literacy and numeracy skills and a good understanding of confidentiality.

As you will be required to deal with a wide range of people, a polite and courteous manner is required as well as a methodical, organised approach to work.

Please note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.
