Team Collaboration

Working alongside a consultant psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team which includes physician assistants, specialty doctors, consultant clinical psychologist, nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and assistant clinical psychology practitioners.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, manage, and treat adult patients with ADHD and related neurodevelopmental conditions in community, mental health and learning disability settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide case supervision and mentorship for junior staff and newly recruited physician assistants.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, progress notes, and service documentation in line with NHS standards.
  • Participate in audits, clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Doctoral or postgraduate qualification in a clinical health discipline (e.g., medicine, nursing, psychologist, social work).
  • Trained as a physician assistant or equivalent clinical assistant role.
  • Excellent clinical skills in assessment and management of ADHD and other developmental disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient IT skills (electronic patient record systems, data entry).
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to work across multiple sites and catch‑ment areas.
