Job summary
A Global Market Engineering Leader is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in a home-based role within the Midlands. This position involves scheduled and emergency repairs, maintaining equipment to industry standards, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Candidates should possess a mechanical qualification and at least two years of experience in FMCG, Distribution, or Warehouse automation. The role offers a competitive OTE of £60,000 and excellent training and benefits.

- Mechanical qualification is required.
- Working knowledge of LOLER or LOTO regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturer's guidance.
- Perform emergency repairs as required.
- Carry out scheduled service work according to equipment manual.
- Accurately record all work undertaken.
- Serve on-call duty one week per month.
- Comply with Health & Safety at all times.
- Ensure correct equipment/tools are carried.
- Adhere to processes and procedures.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Salary: OTE £60,000
Working Hours: Monday‑Friday, 5 days a week
