NO Nights :

You will work a 2-shift rota, Monday to Friday, of a week of mornings 6am-2pm and a week of afternoons 2pm-10pm.

Job Security :

The business is growing, is focused on supplying expanding markets and has been trading over more than seventy years.

NO Weekends :

Your shifts will not impact your weekend social plans, although there is overtime available at enhanced rates on occasion if you want it.

You will work with a wide variety of tooling supporting customers in a range of sectors, keeping your work varied and interesting.

The Environment :

The business is currently relocating the toolroom, adding equipment and improving the layout.

Your typical day as the Toolmaker :

You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of tooling, ensuring that equipment is kept in the best condition possible through the use of workshop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment.

  • Tooling repair and maintenance experience (preferably plastics / moulding)
  • A time served apprenticeship as a Toolmaker.
  • Ability to use workshop equipment to complete tasks such as milling, turning, and grinding.
