Job summary
A cultural organization is looking for a Programmer and Development Manager at Caird Hall in Dundee. This full-time role requires a degree in a relevant field and proven experience in venue management and live event operations. Responsibilities include managing programming and marketing while ensuring effective staff performance and budget management. The position offers a salary between £42,416 and £47,272 per year.

We are looking for a connected and dynamic programmer and development manager to begin a new exciting era at the Caird Hall, Dundee’s premier concert venue. - Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area e.g. Marketing, Event Management or relevant experience.
- To strategically lead, develop and manage the programming and marketing of the Caird Hall Complex in line with the priority objectives of Leisure and Culture Dundee.
- Proven experience in venue management, live event operations, or a related role in the arts, entertainment, or hospitality sector.
- Working knowledge of Office 365, including Word, Excel, Teams etc.
- Understanding and experience of working with promoters and producers across the UK.
- People management experience.
- Ability to set staff standards and monitor delivery through effective performance management.
- Proven understanding and experience in live event planning, marketing, delivery and reporting.
- Understanding social media and marketing platforms and extensive experience of delivering marketing strategies.
- Experience of budget management and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
£42,416 - £47,272 per year
