Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Field Sales / Technical Sales


Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading supplier of capital equipment, covering the whole of the UK. We are seeking someone with a pre-active approach to sales who is happy to do cold-calling as well as face-to-face meetings with clients to build their client base.


This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with experience selling machinery such as shrinkwrappers, overwrappers, checkweighers or similar capital equipment into the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, FMCG, packaging or similar industries and offers great financial incentives.


Benefits Package:

  1. Base Salary £50,000-£60,000
  2. Uncapped OTE £100,000+
  3. Car allowance
  4. Laptop and phone
  5. 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The Role:

  1. Implement sales strategies to sell new and existing products within the portfolio to new and existing customers.
  2. Visiting customer sites
  3. Continually conduct market analysis.
  4. Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecast.
  5. Working in conjunction with UK Sales Team, you will prepare a business plan for future growth.

Requirements:

  1. Previous sales experience selling capital equipment such as packaging machinery, checkweighers, x-ray equipment or similar.
  2. Will have ideally sold into FMCG; Food & Beverage or Pharmaceutical.
  3. A strong technical skill-set and a genuine interest in a sales career could compensate for lack of previous experience in a similar position.
  4. Able to travel within the UK and overseas when required.
