A reputable insurance provider in Scotland is seeking a High Net Worth Underwriter to manage a portfolio of affluent clients and engage with brokers. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in underwriting high-net-worth personal lines insurance and possess relevant professional qualifications. Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in underwriting high-net-worth personal lines insurance.
• Strong knowledge of the HNW market and client expectations.
• Familiarity with the Channel Islands regulatory environment would be advantageous.

• Underwriting complex high-value personal insurance risks within delegated authority.

• Supporting improvements to underwriting processes and guidelines.
• Mentoring junior underwriters to promote professional development.
• Producing and reviewing underwriting reports to guide strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in underwriting high-net-worth personal lines insurance, ideally supported by a relevant professional qualification such as DIP CII. A strong knowledge of the HNW market, client expectations, and specialist products is essential. You should possess excellent analytical and decision-making abilities, with a client-focused and collaborative approach. Familiarity with the Channel Islands regulatory environment would be advantageous.
