Overview

Export Sales Executive – Corby area

Salary: £45,000+ do. e., uncapped commission, travel allowance, permanent, immediate start, Mon-Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm. Job reference: NN17 1QE.

Due to continued success and expansion, an experienced Export Sales Executive is required to join a leading, well-established manufacturing company in Corby. You will drive international sales, maximise sales revenues, and act as a leader for business growth, reporting to the General Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the day to day sales cycle to an international customer base (prospect, lapsed & current), building relationships and identifying business opportunities.
  • Working closely with the General Sales Manager to devise and execute a successful sales strategy, supported by market research.
  • Visiting customer sites and delivering sales presentations; attending international trade shows to showcase the brand.
  • Preparing and distributing quotations and negotiating pricing within company guidelines.
  • Coordinating all export administration and processes in line with HMRC and Government regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience in export sales within machinery manufacturing or an organisation where basic technical understanding of mechanical or automation systems was required to sell products.
  • Results-driven sales person with excellent communication and a proactive approach.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and CRM; willingness to undertake regular international travel.
  • Degree level education preferred; bilingual in Spanish, German or French advantageous but not essential.
  • 1-to-1 support to become familiar with the company 0s products, processes and procedures.
  • Experience in roles such as International Sales Representative, European Sales Executive or Export Sales Representative is desirable.
