A leading recruiting agency is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a reputable manufacturer of fine chemicals in the UK. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment in a busy chemical manufacturing setting. Ideal candidates possess hands-on experience in similar environments, with electrical skills being a key advantage. Competitive salary and excellent benefits are offered for the right candidate.
Our client has built their reputation as one of the UK's most flexible and reliable manufacturers of fine chemicals. Their team combines technical expertise, hands‑on know-how, and a passion for quality to deliver high-performance chemical solutions for global customers.
They are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our friendly, hardworking team and help keep our plant running safely and efficiently.
This is a hands‑on engineering role based within a busy chemical manufacturing environment. You’ll be maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of production equipment and site infrastructure to ensure smooth, safe, and continuous operations.
You’ll need to be comfortable getting stuck in, this is not a desk job.
The work can sometimes be dirty, smelly, and challenging, but for the right person, it’s highly rewarding, varied, and part of a supportive team that values practical problem‑solving.
