THE EMPLOYER IS: FERMANAGH ENTERPRISE LTDTo ensure the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of Fermanagh Enterprise Agency’s buildings and surrounding areas across all 4 sites.The role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene, carrying out minor maintenance tasks, ensuring facilities are safe and operational for tenants and visitors, and supporting the efficient running of the Agency’s premises.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of offices, toilets, kitchens, corridors, and common areas across all sites.
• Empty bins, clean surfaces, vacuum and mop floors, and replenish supplies.
• Ensure that cleaning materials and equipment are safely stored and maintained.
• Undertake deep-cleaning tasks periodically as required.
• Conduct routine checks of buildings, fixtures, fittings, and external areas.
• Carry out minor maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. changing light bulbs, basic plumbing, painting touch-ups).
• Report any major maintenance issues or hazards to management.
• Ensure heating, lighting, and security systems are functioning properly.
• Open and close buildings as required, ensuring they are secure outside operating hours.
• Monitor the premises for safety hazards or security concerns.
• Support compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with room setups for meetings, events, or tenant requirements.
• Support waste management and recycling initiatives.
• Undertake any reasonable additional duties as directed by management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning and/or caretaking roles.
• Ability to travel between sites (full driving licence and access to transport).
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
• Experience working across multiple premises.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
