Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a reliable Stores Person to manage vehicle parts and materials within a busy coachwork and repair environment in Highweek, England. The role requires previous experience in parts handling, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently. Benefits include weekly pay, online payslips, 28 days of paid annual leave, and possible permanent positions after a trial period. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.

- Receiving, checking, and booking in vehicle parts and materials.
- Organising and maintaining an efficient parts store.
- Issuing parts to technicians as required.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Liaising with suppliers and assisting with parts ordering.
Skills
Our client based in Newton Abbot are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores Person to manage vehicle parts and materials within a busy coachwork and repair environment. This will be a full time role, Monday - Friday. 08:00-17:00. Own transport is required due to the location of the site.
- Receiving, checking, and booking in vehicle parts and materials
- Organising and maintaining an efficient parts store
- Issuing parts to technicians as required
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
- Liaising with suppliers and assisting with parts ordering
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Keeping the stores area clean, safe, and well organised
- Previous experience as a stores person or in parts handling (automotive experience preferred)
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for stock control systems
