Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a reliable Stores Person to manage vehicle parts and materials within a busy coachwork and repair environment in Highweek, England. The role requires previous experience in parts handling, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently. Job description

Our client based in Newton Abbot are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores Person to manage vehicle parts and materials within a busy coachwork and repair environment. This will be a full time role, Monday - Friday. 08:00-17:00. Own transport is required due to the location of the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving, checking, and booking in vehicle parts and materials
  • Organising and maintaining an efficient parts store
  • Issuing parts to technicians as required
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
  • Liaising with suppliers and assisting with parts ordering
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Keeping the stores area clean, safe, and well organised
About You
  • Previous experience as a stores person or in parts handling (automotive experience preferred)
  • Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for stock control systems
