A leading life science company located in Cambridge is seeking a Scientist 2 to join their Preclinical Services Department. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing high-throughput compound screening and functional genomic projects. Candidates should have a higher-level degree in Biotechnology or related fields, strong mammalian cell culture skills, and experience with laboratory automation. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.

Due to growth of our state-of-the-art Cell-Based Screening and Functional Genomic Screening Platforms, we have an exciting opportunity for a Scientist 2 to join our Preclinical Services Department. As a Scientist 2 in the Preclinical Services department, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analysing data generated from high-throughput compound screens and CRISPR-Cas9 functional genomic screens for fee-paying commercial clients. You will also be involved with our automated robotics platforms for seeding, dosing and developing plate-based experiments. Your daily activities will directly align to and benefit Revvity’s goals and values.
This role will be primarily lab based, with some office work required. You will be expected to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and should be highly self-motivated, able to work to tight timelines and be comfortable working under pressure in an environment with shifting priorities.
