A leading oilfield technology company in the UK is seeking a Lead Engineer in Materials Science to manage materials engineering deliverables on Subsea Production Systems projects. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Materials Engineering or a related field, have significant experience in the offshore industry, and an understanding of corrosion mechanisms. We collaborate with multiple internal teams across the subsea product groups to make sure that our materials meet the design requirements and manufacturing schedule required to create our final product. Collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional and international teams You will be responsible for the materials engineering deliverables at product level on Subsea Production Systems projects globally. The role is part of the SPS Global Materials Engineering department and will work in close cooperation with Regional and Product line Engineering Departments. This role is located at our Production Control Systems (PCS) Centre of Excellence in Nailsea, Bristol. Familiarity with Subsea Production Systems in general and PCS equipment specifically is desirable but not mandatory.
