Role: Structural Design Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: £36,000 to £50,000

We’re looking for a driven Structural Design Engineer to join our client's Bristol team – someone with the curiosity and skill to shape projects from concept through to delivery across sectors including commercial, residential, life science, education, retail, hospitality, sports, and leisure.

You’ll take ownership of detailed design to meet project timelines, working closely with other disciplines for coordination. You’ll be involved in complex and exciting building projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out structural surveys and providing initial advice
• Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using Eurocode and 3D software
• Producing drawings and specifications for tendering
• Responding to client requests and supporting construction documentation
• Monitoring site during construction and supporting colleagues
• Participating in team meetings and developing your professional skills with support towards chartership.

Required skills:

• Experience in designing concrete, steel, and timber structures
• Familiarity with Eurocode and sustainable design principles
• Strong analytical and practical engineering understanding
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Proficiency with design software
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations

Qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 3 years in Structural Engineering
