SALARY: Up to £26,625 FTE (£9,185 per annum, pro rata) plus Pension
JOB TYPE: Permanent
HOURS: 2 days a week – Tuesday and Wednesday
LOCATION: Stevenage and working across all group sites
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an outstanding Job Coach who is motivated and committed to the success of our students within the specialist SEND provision. The ideal candidate will provide highly effective support to young people in their work settings and be confident in making decisions to support individual progression. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
You will train, mentor, and coach students, mainly in the workplace, inspiring them to achieve their potential and progress into employment.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION:
The College operates across three main campuses in Stevenage and Hitchin, employing over 650 staff. With a turnover of £30m, the college offers learning opportunities to over 10,000 students annually, including study programmes for 16-18-year-olds, apprenticeships, and adult education at local, regional, and national levels. We were rated 'Good' by Ofsted in our last inspection in December 2023, with some outstanding features.
