Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the movement of furniture, equipment, and deliveries.
  • Support room setups for events, meetings, and teaching activities.
  • Removal of waste and recycling from accommodation kitchens
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas in coordination with cleaning teams.
  • Respond to reactive requests from building users and facilities teams.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of materials and supplies.
  • Provide a visible and helpful presence to students, staff, and visitors.

You are reliable, practical, and enjoy physical, hands-on work. You take pride in helping others and keeping spaces clean and organised. This role is 36.5 hours a week working shifts between 9am-5:20pm on a 5 over 7 rota. However, we are flexible on working hours so please outline any specific requests to your application form.

  • Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move items safely
