Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role

As a Support Worker you will support 15 people who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns or dementia with their daily routines to live the best lives possible.

The Hawthorns is a large building with 9 large apartments within. There is also a large garden and a flower memorial garden too, which is used a lot in summer. The people supported here enjoy long walks in the nearby parks and woods, bingo nights, cooking & also love takeout fridays too! In the day there is always a minimum of 7 members of staff on shift however only 3 at night. Susie, the manager is usually on-site Monday-Fridays too. We have a variety of different shifts here. We have waking nights from 9pm to 9am. Long day shifts 9am to 9pm. As well as shorter shifts 11am-7pm, 10 : 30am-5pm. 9am-7pm. The chosen candidates MUST be available for both days and waking nights!
