Qualifications

Salary Range: £48,857.00

A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated, flexible and reliable full time Vessel Master (Relief) at PD Ports within the Marine Department.

Responsibilities
  • Operation and navigation of the vessel in accordance with maritime laws and company procedures.
  • Managing the vessel’s ISM Compliance.
  • Supervision and training of crew.
  • Responding to emergencies and implementing safety drills and procedures.
  • Coordinating with Port authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders.
We are seeking someone who:
  • Has proven command experience.
  • Dredging experience would be desirable.
  • Holds a valid ENG 1 Medical certification.
  • Minimum STCW Master CoC.
  • Possess crew training / ISM experience.

This is not a live aboard position.
